On a day like today

On a day like today when I'm not a teacher,

I'm not a student,

I'm not independent,

but I'm not 100% dependent either.

 

On a day when I'm itching to be done

and back to my old...yet altogether new life,

I'm worried about getting from point A to point B

but in terms of faith, am feeling the abundance of mercy.

 

On a day like today, I can't wait until late January

yet dread April 24th.

Nine months stand between my goal and me

yet this is what I signed up for, this game we're playing of keeping score.

 

On a day like today, I absolutely can't wait to read this book from which this video came

 

 It might not happen until after May 2014 but it will be worth the wait!

 

 

 

I can't wait to be who I will be!
