As our ninth wedding anniversary approaches, I'm reminded of the need to write about last year's gifts for the bronze and pottery-themed anniversary!
Here is the description I saw online regarding those themes for the eighth year of marriage: Bronze is a material made from copper and tin—two metals that become stronger when paired together—making it a fitting tribute to a loving couple. Pottery, on the other hand, is crafted from soft, malleable clay that is shaped and molded before taking its final form.
Adam already says we have too many coffee mugs and I have more than my fair share of small pottery pieces/mini vases so bronze it was in trying to think of a creative gift. I was quite stumped until I thought of a unique idea based on the rainy weather we had been experiencing late last spring.
Charlotte and Adam weren't quite sure of what the item was when it was first pulled out from the box.
What did Adam give me last year? Two coffee mugs (pottery) in spite of his protest that our cupboard is already overflowing with that particular item!
