Psalm 23 ~ Good Reminder!

As I sit here amidst towers of boxes and the bonus room in a disarray, taking a break from packing, I'm humbled by the wisdom of friends who inspire me and help me to grow.  I'm so thankful for the conversations and perspectives others bring to the table to help me get outside my small limited way of thinking.  Whether it's cracking a joke to ease my anxiety over upcoming changes or opening my eyes to the lessons that are there to learn in every experience, I am incredibly blessed to be on the receiving end of these words from loved ones & friends.

Happy Day # 11:  The quiet times I have spent in random churches reflecting on these words shared with me in conversations or just being still when I can pop in between schools during the work day make me happy.

Psalm 23

 

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside still waters;
He restores my soul. He leads me in right paths For His Name's sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil;
For you are with me;
Your rod and Your staff - they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, You anoint my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life. And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord My whole life long.
